In this article we will cover how to transfer a domain name from any other Registrar to us.

To transfer a domain name you must order it in your Billing Portal > Domain Transfer
You can also Add Hosting in domain transfer in order to avail free domain renewal along with transfer for next year.

There are a few requirements that must be met before a domain can be transferred to us.

1. You must have domain EPP/Transfer Code in order to transfer a domain name.
2. Domain status must be unlocked or "OK" according to https://whois.haw.company/
3. The Domain must be at lease 60 days old at current registrar panel before it can be transferred.

If any of the above requirements are unable to met with HAW Company, the transfer will fail.

Domain Transfer Status:

When a domain transfer to haw company is initiated, we will send a request to your current registrar to release the domain. During this process, the email address listed as the registrant on the domain will receive an approval email in most cases containing a link to approve the transfer.

Once the approval link has been clicked & approved, the current registrar should then release the domain. The process still depends on the above 3 requirements for the domain being transferred.

Note: haw company  has no control over how quickly the current registrar releases your domain(s). This process can take anywhere from a few hours & up to 1 weeks as it depends on registrar. We are only provided with updates on the process IF the domain is successfully transferred OR the domain transfer fails/rejected. In the event the transfer fails, we will notify you with the reason and/or error code.
