How Can I Clear My Browser's Cache?

Every time you access a file from the internet via a browser, it is cached. In this way, certain files, including the images, do not need to be retrieved every time you click forward and backward buttons from the remote website. However, in order to check the recent changes on any website, you need to clear your browser's cache and refresh the page. Please check your browser below to see how you can clear the Cache.

Internet Explorer

To clear the cache of Internet Explorer, follow the below-mentioned steps:

1. In the Tools menu, select delete browsing history.
2. Then right after temporary internet files, click delete files.
3. Click yes, and then Close to exit.

If the above options are not being shown, then try the following:

1. In the Tools menu, select the Internet options.
2. Below the General tab, go to Browser History & click on Delete.
3. Don't forget to check the box of Temporary Files.
4. Click delete & then click OK to exit.

Internet Explorer 4. x through 6. x

1. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
2. Click the General tab.
3. From the temporary Internet file section, click Delete Files.

Firefox

Firefox 10 for Mac OS X & Windows

1. In the Tools menu, select Clear Recent History
2. From the top drop-down Menu, choose everything, and ensure if Cache is checked or not.
3. Click on Clear Now.

Firefox 3. x

1. From the Tools menu, select the option of Clear Recent History.
2. Select Time-range to clear the drop-down Menu. 
3. Click details to check which history details you want to remove.
4. Select only the check box for Cache.
5. Click Clear Now.
6. Exit and relaunch the browser.

Firefox 1.x-3.0

1. From the Tools menu, click on clear the private data.
2. Ensure the box is checked next to each option you wish to clear private data, including cookies, Cache, and authenticated sessions).
3. Click Clear Private Data Now.

 Safari

1. In your Safari Browser, select Menu, then Preferences.
2. In the opened dialog box, select the Advanced tab.
3. At the bottom of the advanced tab, check the box for Show Develop Menu.
4. Close the preferences Dialog Box.
5. From the Develop menu, select Empty Caches.

Safari 1.5-5.x (mac osX)

1. From the Safari menu, select Empty Cache.
2. When Prompted, click empty to confirm the command to empty the Cache.

Google Chrome

1. Click the three dots

 2. Select More Tools > Clear Browsing data. You can choose a time range. All-time needs to be selected to delete everything.

3. Check all the boxes next to Cookies and other site data and Cached Images & Files.

4. Choose Clear Data.

Opera 8.0

1. Click on edit from Opera Menu Bar.
2. From the File, menu click Preferences.
3. Click History & Cache Menu.
4. Click Cache.
5. Click OK to close the preferences menu.

AOL

1. Select Keyword, and then go to Keyword.
2. Type the Keyword Preferences.
3. Click Go.
4. From the dialog box, select the Essentials tab, then Internet Options, and then Set web browser options and properties.
5. In the Dialog, select the General tab.
6. Click Delete Files.
7. Then in the dialog box, select delete all offline content.
8. Click OK to close the Dialog.
9. Click OK to close the other remaining dialog box.
